Fife Environmental Partnership Conference Fashion Show 2016

Fashion students at Fife College recently showed a collection of garments that were inspired by recycling and fashion sustainability at the Fife Environmental Partnership Conference in Dunfermline. Kelly, above, is modelling menswear from Nathan's Wastesavers in Denny, embellished with corsages created by the students from men's neckties.

Millie is wearing an outfit designed by Kaye Springham, recent Fife College graduate, created from pre-loved garments and using textile waste as a fabric source.

Baiba is wearing a second outfit designed by Kaye Springham, embellished with recycled fabrics and leggings that had a previous life as a sweater.

Ania Cunningham's 3 piece outfit is modelled by Natalie and is inspired by the rainforest. Recycled fabrics and threads were used in raw material sourcing.

Susannah, the gothic bride, reflects designer Lisa Buchanan's love of bed sheeting. The ruffled collar and cuffs are studded with seed pearls.

Many thanks to Paul Cranston Imagery and Fife College students of Hair and Make-up Artistry
